2012: Heading Towards a Relationship with Change.

Much has been written about 2012 but what does all this amount to and what, if anything, is about to happen?

There has been a certain amount of scare mongering with regard to the subject of 2012, i.e. there are certain ancient calendars which end on December 21st 2012 and whoops…… horror……. it’s the “End of the World”!!! This is not, I promise you, going to occur. The problem as always is in the interpretation of the prophecy.

It is however a fact that certain aspects of our science and our dedication to the growth of industrialisation during the 20th Century have brought us to the tipping point for the World as we know it. For example:-

We have, within living memory, undergone not one but two World Wars. The second of which ended with two thermonuclear explosions.
We have created a society which is very much out of touch and out of balance typified by the greed of a few, the poverty of many and the collective mass hysteria fostered by elements of the Worlds media.
We are depleting natural recourses at an unsustainable rate.
We are polluting our home at an unprecedented rate.
We are facilitating the onset of a period of warming of our planet the results of which will be devastating for millions.
We have allowed a breed of international terrorism to flourish and create a situation in which we do not feel safe.
We have recently created the most damaging financial crisis in living memory the effects of which will be felt for decades.

Not to put too fine a point on it, perhaps we do not in fact know quite as much as we think we do!

I am, among other things, an Astrologer so may I share with you some information so that you are better informed about what all the 2012 hype is about?

It is partly because the Age of Aquarius officially begins on Dec 21st 2012. It is also because certain astrological transits were accurately predicted by many indigenous peoples, most notably The Mayans.

One of the most interesting things is that the axis of the earth will be on the edge of the constellation of Aquarius for the first time for 12,920 years and the Earth will then be moving towards the centre of the Galaxy i.e. the Galactic Centre instead of moving away from it.

(The Galactic Centre is the rotational centre of the Milky Way galaxy. It is located about 24,800 Light Years away from the Earth, in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius, where the Milky Way appears brightest. There is a suspected super-massive black hole at this point.)

For the next 2,160 years the axis of the Earth will be moving through the constellation of Aquarius and the effects will indeed be monumental and stupendous. During this period we have an opportunity and a responsibility to enrich our self development and our relationships, both personally and globally.

Another important element is that the Sun and the Earth will be in alignment with the centre of the Galaxy and this will not occur again for some 26,000 years.

I interpret this as a call to action, I see it as a signpost pointing in the direction of spiritual growth and encouraging us to be guided less by our egos (facilitated by untrammelled free will) and to awaken to the necessity for community growth and harmony.

What an honour it is to live in these times!

Many people will exhibit a healthy degree of skepticism when considering analyses based on Astrological precepts but I would say that you do not have to believe in something in order for it to affect you. For example, the vast majority of those involved with the massacre and suffering at Hiroshima and Nagasaki knew little about the splitting of the atom, but they did experience that which followed as a result. Sir Isaac Newton was a committed astrologer – it was his first love, as his study of astrology was what led to his interest in science. We say we are a science believing civilisation so why would we reject the concepts of one of our greatest scientists ever?

I could write many pages on other planetary relationships which would be interesting from an Astrological viewpoint but perhaps not relevant for those whose interest does not stretch into these realms. May I however beg your indulgence and describe the influence of a rather small and apparently insignificant but exceedingly dense planet located at the outer reaches of the Solar System?

It is none other than Pluto and it represents the cycle of death, destruction, transformation and rebirth.

Pluto was discovered at the time the atom was split and the atomic bomb was developed. It rules the related characteristics in other words “Evolution is us”!

So why might Pluto be singled out for discussion on the subject of 2012? I do have good reasons; the first being that Pluto rules beginnings and endings of the phases of life and the date Dec 21st 2012 is just that. I also feel that Pluto’s visit to the Galactic centre (commencing December 28th , 2006, then again on June 16th 2007 and Oct 27th 2008) began the wake up call and prepared the way for the next powerful event. The ending of one phase of consciousness and the beginning of another, therefore Pluto’s influence is indicated here.

Pluto is powerful and direct; it is in fact unavoidable. It requires change and transformation. To achieve this we need to face, trust and engage with it. We also have to accept that radical evolution is inevitable and we might just as well buy into it now rather than resist it only to be forced into it at a later date. To resist it is to risk a catastrophe.

I would like us to move forward on the path of safe and secure evolution. Pluto was in Leo 1937/38 and relates to issues such as those that have been coming up since just before the beginning of WW II.

Pluto in Leo marked the beginning of an evolutionary change that is still affecting us today and awakening us to what 2012 will bring. The excuse of superficiality no longer holds any credence and we need to move away from it and into the depths of ourselves and our communities. I would therefore advise that we work towards developing an understanding of what is required of us and to give to Society what Society needs, both on a global as well as on a personal level.

We are now, with the evolution of this age, changing the emphasis and moving back to the concentration of the feminine, which was in the ascendant in the original “Golden Age” at the dawn of time. In Drunvalo Melchizedek’s book “Serpent of the Light” he details how the Earth’s kundalini has moved from the Himalayas to the Andes and how this will manifest in changes both previous to and following 2012.

The shift of the Earth’s kundalini actually happened in 2002. The ten years between 2002 and 2012 can be considered a perfect piece of timing for preparation. The Earth’s kundalini is now in place and ready for action in the Andes having moved from the Himalayas where it had resided following the destruction of Atlantis.

It was taken to the Himalayas by The Nakkals, the inner council, of the people who lived in Atlantis. The outer council (the priesthood) of the people of Atlantis then migrated to what is now known as New Mexico and hence became known as the Maya. Perhaps we are now beginning to see a link between our western astrology which talks about important happenings and the Mayan astrology which points to 2011, (2012, 2013, whichever translation of these calendars you may read) as being the point of change and that the moving of the Earth’s kundalini is a very important part of this change. It indicates the Maya as being a guiding force for this change upon the Earth. If the timing seems to be ‘out’ and perhaps somewhat bizarre on occasions, what is missing is our ability to interpret. Everything is always as it should be; “perfect” but we are required to grow and to understand the teachings which are there for us. So, the Earth’s kundalini has moved….but what is kundalini?

It is essentially an energy stream. People confuse kundalini with the energy that we experience rising up the spine at the time of orgasm. Our individual physical electromagnetic field is identical with that of the Earth and therefore it follows that the Earth possesses kundalini.

The Earth’s kundalini was originally located in Atlantis but about 16,000 years ago it is postulated that an asteroid struck the Earth and was responsible for the destruction of this great civilisation. The fall took some three thousand years to complete There are also other versions of the reason for the fall of Atlantis one of which is that it was caused by a shift in the Earth’s magnetic field which is of course perfectly possible.

Atlantis was a great spiritual centre and when the kundalini was relocated it founded a great spiritual community in Tibet.

They possessed an advanced knowledge of the happenings which would occur to us down the centuries. These are described on an ancient stone contained in the British Museum which has been authenticated.

When the Nakkals arrived in Tibet they began the construction of a great white pyramid and this is where the kundalini resided until 2002 when it was successfully moved and relocated to the Andes. The emphasis has thus changed, as a result, from masculine to feminine. I feel that the relocation of the Earth’s kundalini has given rise to the unrest in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The masculine is definitely trying to cling to power there.

The importance of caring for our children cannot be underestimated. The legacy which we are leaving behind for them needs to be considered with the emphasis being in the art of creation, or even re-creation of our relationship to self. The precious years of childhood have been eroded in recent times. There is an associated need to avoid risks with our children. Abuse of children frequently makes the news and we all carry the responsibility for the necessitated change.

In summary therefore, it is clear to me that we must not ignore what is in front of us. Our home, the Earth, now needs our help. The time is now and we must act to take care of it for if we do not Earth will take care of itself, the consequences of which could have serious implications for mankind. The whole World’s community needs protection as we are heading towards a position of uncertainty.

We are now beginning to establish our relationship with change. The point of writing this article is to explain to you that what is about to happen is not yet decided, and that is because it will be determined by our degree of awareness and co-operation during the twenty or so years following 2012.

Anxiety and panic will actively work against the positive effects which can be ours. Each Soul present on the Earth has a role to play, that of responsibility. This means we must find a resonant space within our bodies which accepts that opportunity is within our grasp, we then have a chance to change the corruption of our Earth, our environment and our lives.
